Hey there. Happy Friday!! So as some of you may know, I have become a proponent of purchasing as much local product as you reasonably can. That change in attitude about food (you’ll read more in a future blog) lead me to join our local CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) The Garden of Eat’n (

The question I get each week from not only my family, but friends, is “What do I do with this stuff in my basket”. Well guess what……you can look here now!!

Each week I will give you some info about the items and some preparation suggestions. My goal is to point you in the right direction on what to do.

Remember…’s never to late to take the first step in eating better. Try replacing one frozen or processed item with a fresh selection at the grocery store this week. Ditch the frozen chicken wings and pick up some fresh chicken wings. Toss them lightly with olive oil, (I like to use a chipolte oil…great smokey heat) and some cumin, garlic and oregano then cook them on your grill!!!!!
